Hello to you all,

I have just bought old KTM, in the papers is written, that the model is KTM 600 GS, motor 560 ROTAX 25kW, year 1985. Is somebody able to determine, which exact type I have, if it is really KTM 600 GS, do you have photos, brochure or manual of this type? I would like to restaure this moto and I already know, that not all parts are origo, so before I start to buy or find for new ones, I need to know, how this bike should look like.

Welcome here. From what i see on the picture, it seems to be an enduro (GS). All the parts seems to be the right ones. I only have a doubt about the seat that is may be too long and the plastics on the side for the numbers.

Look at the top of the page in the Gamme in the models of Ktm of 1984, there are 2 pictures of this model.

when I compere my bike with pictures mentioned by you, it does not fit :/ KTM 600XC 1984 has a drum in front wheel, I have a disc for example. I have seen on some pages a model from the year 1985, this moto looks like my moto. But I am not sure, if this model exist or if somebody only rebuilt his moto. Does exist some page, whera are specification for all KTM models? with photos?

On page leguidevert they gave me a contact on same Austrien webside, where is possible to buy some spareparts, I will try them, and they also noticed, that my side panels are not original :/

abou the anglish, this page has some corrector, than the text doesnt look fluent, it is some mismatch:D

La selle n'est pas d'origine. La fourche et la boucle arrière sont peut-être plus anciennes, (1984).
Les derniers ROTAX (1986) avaient ces caches latéraux.
Voir également, la position du régulateur, à l'avant du cadre.

...this is my 600 Ktm just afer the buying, before reconditioning.
This bike (I mean my bike!)  is a KTM 600 ED 1985

your bike looks realy nice, do you have some pictures from the restauration? there should have been lot of work. Can you please advise, the process, how to make the tank with white color? does it stay as it is in the future, without making yelow spots for example?
