Forgive me for write this presentation in (bad) English but my french is even worst!, I hope you can understand me anyway..

My name is Rafa, I live in Madrid, Spain and I has been riding dirt bikes since i was 12 years old ( I´m 48 years old now)

I grew up between the old Spanish bikes, Montesa, Bultaco, Ossa...but on those days (last 70´s, early 80´s), we saw with envious eyes dirt bikes which burn the tracks in Europe, (Maico, KTM.  SWM, Fantic, Ancillotti, ...) which were difficult and expensive to import to Spain in those years...

Right now, I own a amazing KTM 300 2009, which allow me to continue to climb the rocks ...but, side by side in the garage, there are a SWM 347 TF1 restored some years ago,  a little Puch Cobra MC 75 and waiting for restore, a KTM GS 390 81

I found this nice site looking for information about KTM and looks really nice and with a lot of entusiast KTM riders, so I hope I can share with you the progress of my bike and eventually, ask for some help..

Hi, welcome Rafa, I'm convinced you've made the good choice!!! KTM is the best!!  😄 Anyway, even if other makes are not bad......that's why we're all fond of this make in here. Don't forget to send us picts, (in jpg) because it seems the last one are not downloaded.

Certainly, I love KTM, both actual and classic bikes...I owned a 250 85, 350, 89, 250 98, 400 02 and 300 09 and was really happy with them

I´ll up load a post with more details of my 390 project and I´ll be very pleased to share with you ideas, commentaries and tricks!
