3 ans plus tard...
Here is a photo of them apart. I always find broken shims and rebound springs in these shocks :/ I am looking for the 'WP Grand Prix Replica' stickers
Oil seal for these shocks is WP # 3612.0061 - Oil seal d12.4 but i have brand new ones and they really measure under 12mm, about 11.80mm!! this makes me think they are just a common standard 12mm seal, same as in Ohlins twinshocks and the seal is tight fit on the 12.40mm shaft.
The dust seal is WP # 3612.0060 - 12.7x18x3-4.5 and it really is 12.70mm! The dust seal is made by Eriks seals eriks.com/ and you can buy it from them
ask Eriks for # 339992 - WPM 12.7 x 18 x 3 - 4.5 NK901B/C
the little o-ring above the dust seal is WP # 3612.0063 - o-ring NBR 14.1 x 1.6

I think the main oil seal is 12mm and not 12.40mmm. I have brand new oil seal 3612.0061 and WP calls it '12.4mm oil seal' but when i measure it, the inside is actually 11.80mm I think its really a 12mm seal, same as Ohlins so this seal should be easy to find. It stretches open to 12.40mm when fitted.
I also know some people convert these shocks to 12mm and use 12mm Ohlins seal heads and make new 12mm shafts. Another option is to convert to 12.50mm shafts and then use Suzuki RM80 or Honda CR80 33mm OD Showa seal heads and machine them down to 31.70mm. I did all the measurements and i think it is possible to do. This is the part which is made by All Balls Racing and Moose Offroad in USA

You also have to make the o-ring groove deeper and then use a smaller inside o-ring.
The Showa dust seal is taller and would require a new body cap. Or you could stay with WP 12.70mm dust seal. At least this is a bit better having 12.70 seal n 12.50mm shaft instead of 12.70 seal on 12.40mm shaft.
So i think there is plenty of options for fixing the shocks besides shims and pistons if you have broken ones. That is the main problem in these shocks because the she shims have special holes and flaps.
For the rubber bladders, they can be replaced with WP # 3612.0024 - separation piston d42. This part can be bought from KTM dealers. You also need # 3612.0466 - O-ring Viton 32 x 5 and # 4681.0022 - Piston ring 3.9 x 1.5x124
The shaft piston ring is the same as in the 'mini 4054' USD forks on KTM 80 TM 80 etc but the part is no longer available 😕 The part number is # 3548.0070 - Piston ring 8 x 1.5x 93
Does anyone else always find these broken shims in the old WP's?
I think i will have to get them made. They are special shims. Every WP with these in them that i have pulled apart has had 1 or 2 flaps broken but i am not sure if they have been broken on purpose by the manufacturer or if they should not be broken?
This forum alters my english language a bit so sorry if it does not make sense. I post in english but the forum changes it a bit.
